We are just back from a 4 day mini tour of Northern England which included some of the finest motorcycling roads god saw fit to put on this earth!

We based ourselves in Hexham, a lovely town with a good choice of accommodation, restaurants, pubs and also has a Wetherspoons so plenty of cheap beer (It don't get much better than that )
We covered 930 miles in the 4 days. The first loop was Northumbria popping in and out of Scotland & England, the second loop was south into Cumbria and The Yorkshire Dales, we would describe our trips as mostly sightseeing on the move!

We are definitely going back to do it again So if anybody wants to join us come along for some fabulous riding and a jolly good larf and possibly a bit too much beer?
We think April-June is a good time of year plus outside school holidays and midweek as the roads should be a bit quieter than the weekends and possibly less police presence, just in case we inadvertently stray over the posted speed limits
